I took the kids to a Spokane River Hawks collegiate baseball game tonight. The visitors were the Bellingham Bells. We won 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth with two outs!
They played at Gonzaga's baseball field. It was a perfect night for baseball; the full moon rose over the buildings in the distance, over center field.
MP had to work late tonight, but C and L and I had a great time with the Giangrecos. I realize I miss baseball. This game was just our pace: 50 fans in a large stadium...fans seemed to be mostly family members and girlfriends. And, of course, a few kids since tonight was sponsored by Mobius Kids children's museum and by our dentist!
Now we will have to take in a Spokane Indian's game. My camera batteries were dead (fully recharged, but dead, all the same), otherwise this post would be visual.
